تاسست فرقة تراب عام ٢٠٠٤ على ايدي مجموعة من الموسيقيين الفلسطينيين باحثين عن موسيقى فلسطينية خاصة.

تقوم فرقة تراب على ترجمة تعقيدات السياسة و الاحتلال و الفقر والحب والحياة اليومية في فلسطين. تقدم الفرقة اغان مميزة تجمع بين السياسة والموسيقى الاجتماعية مما يعطيها طابعا خاصا. سميت فرقة تراب صوت فلسطين الجديد

لقد عمل  ملحن الفرقه باسل زايد في الموسيقى منذ اكثر من ١٥ عاما. وهو يتميز بطريقة الغناء المختلفة والتنوع والالحان الاصيلة التى تعبر عن فئة كبيرة من المستمعين



About Turab

The music group Turab was formed in 2004 by a group of musicians seeking to create an original Palestinian sound. Turab strives to translate into music the complexities of politics, occupation, poverty, love, and daily life in present-day Palestine. It draws on a distinguished tradition of political and social music, yet hits a unique note all of its own. Turab is a Palestinian band that has been called the new sound of Palestine.

Basel Zayed, the composer, has been making music for over 15 years. He is best known for his distinctive vocal style, versatility, and original musical compositions that appeal to a wide audience.
